Brian Tarpley and Molly Mitchell embarked on their senior year of high school together as summer ended in 1984 - a summer of bonfires, field parties and jumping off a diving raft into the midnight waters of their fading childhood. Rebecca Tate was a six-year-old girl who enjoyed staying up late with her older sister and turning dead autumn leaves into art projects.
